Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is to be filled at Sauber Motorsports AG in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Deine Aufgaben

Become part of the Powertrain Race Team! Travel worldwide and participate in trackside operations!

Autonomous and responsible assembly, configuration, and commissioning of racing quick-shift gearboxes/cassettes, high-pressure hydraulic systems, and the clutch
Autonomous and accountable execution of all defined service operations on racing quick-shift gearboxes/cassettes, high-pressure hydraulic systems, and the clutch
Continuous improvement and optimization of work processes at the racetrack in close coordination with the race team on track and the design and workshop team
Troubleshooting of components and the overall system in close collaboration with the design and workshop teams
Identifying and documenting issues in the assembly process as well as during testing and racing operations of the components in close collaboration with the design and workshop teams
Thinking and acting solution-oriented and communicating calculated risks

Dein Profil

Excellent understanding of mechanical systems
Completed technical training or equivalent qualification with professional experience in motorsport (ideally trackside)
Good MS-Office skills as well as SAP Know-How is an advantage
Highly motivated, reliable, and solution-oriented personalit
Excellent creative thinking and manual skills
Experience in working in a high paced environment and under pressure
Openness and capability to learn and develop new competencies hands-on
Resilient personality and strong team player willing to work under difficult working conditions around the world with high flexibility to work on weekends
Full professional proficiency in English and a willingness to learn a basic level of German
