Since the 2026 season, Audi has been competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Formula 1 factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Audi Motorsport Technology Center in UK is in its launch phase and growing continuously. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

This position is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).
In the field of gearbox assembly, you will work on one of the key components of a high-performance drivetrain and contribute to competitiveness in a highly competitive environment. From the basic assembly of gearboxes in the workshop to test bench setup and complete drivetrain assembly, you will assemble sequential racing gearboxes for high-performance motorsport applications at the highest quality level.

Our Team
Your Mission
- Independent, self-responsible assembly and commissioning of motorsport sequential racing gearboxes
- Manufacturing of fixtures and tools to simplify assembly work in cooperation with the design department
- Testing, adjustment, and commissioning of gearboxes and their subsystems
- Carrying out assembly-accompanying measurements and adjustment activities
- Troubleshooting components and the overall system in close cooperation with component owners
- Documentation of individual work steps
- Continuous improvement of work processes in the production of gearbox components
- Identification of issues in the assembly process in close coordination with the component owner and quality assurance
Your Profile
- Excellent understanding of mechanical systems and gearbox technology
- Solid vocational training or technical qualification with professional experience in motorsport
- Enjoy working in global teams
- High level of commitment and problem-solving skills
- A resilient, confident personality with strong team spirit, high motivation and a proactive approach
- Excellent creative and manual skills
- Full professional proficiency in German or English and a willingness to learn a basic level in the corresponding other language round off your profile
