Audi wird ab 2026 in der FIA Formel 1 Weltmeisterschaft antreten.

Das neue Team hat drei Standorte. Das Audi Kompetenz-Center Motorsport in Neuburg (Deutschland) gilt als eines der modernsten seiner Art in Europa. Die Sauber Group's Formula 1 Factory in Hinwil (Schweiz) ist bekannt für ihre innovativen Technologien und ihre Leidenschaft für den Rennsport. Das Sauber Motorsport Technology Center im Vereinigten Königreich wird in diesem Jahr in Betrieb genommen. Unsere Power Unit kommt aus Neuburg, während Hinwil für die Entwicklung des Chassis und den Rennbetrieb verantwortlich ist.

Diese Position für das Audi F1 Project ist bei der Audi Formula Racing GmbH am Standort Neuburg (Deutschland) zu besetzen.

Im Bereich Qualitätsmanagement arbeitest Du an der Schlüsselkomponente Verbrennungsmotor mit Schwerpunkt Turbolader und trägst Deinen Teil zur Wettbewerbsfähigkeit in einem hochkompetitiven Umfeld bei. Von der Entwicklung und Fertigung der Einzelbauteile bis hin zum fertigen High-Performance-Antrieb für die Motorsportanwendung wirst du die Bauteile über Ihren gesamten Lebenszyklus begleiten. Im Team der QS-Bauteilverantwortlichen wirst Du die erforderliche Bauteilqualität sicherstellen und an dynamischen und komplexen Schadensanalysen im Kontext des F1 Hybridantriebssystems beteiligt sein.

Deine Aufgaben

Einbringen und Vertreten der qualitätsrelevanten Punkte während der Konstruktionsphase in Zusammenarbeit mit der technischen Entwicklung
Auswahl geeigneter Lieferanten in Zusammenarbeit mit Beschaffung und technischer Entwicklung, Lieferantenqualifizierung
Festlegen geeigneter Mess- und Prüfmethoden zur Bauteilprüfung
Durchführung, Beurteilung, Freigabe und Dokumentation der Bauteilprüfungen
Reklamationsabwicklung mit externen Lieferanten
Durchführen von Bauteilanalysen, Mitarbeit im Schadensanalyse- und Fehlerabstellprozess
Erstellung von Zulässigkeitskriterien, Prüfanweisungen und Einbringen von Lessons Learned

Dein Profil

Technisches Studium der Fachrichtung Maschinenbau oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs
Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich Verbrennungsmotor (Kurbel- und Ventiltrieb)
Gesamtheitliche analytische Denkweise kombiniert mit einem sehr guten Systemverständnis Verbrennungsmotor
Erfahrungen im Bereich Qualitätssicherung und im Umgang mit externen Lieferanten
Fundierte IT-Kenntnisse (MS-Office, SAP)
Durchsetzungsstärke, ein hohes Maß an Motivation und Eigeninitiative als Teil eines kleinen Teams mit direkter Kommunikation und hoher Eigenverantwortung
Gute Englischkenntnisse und Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit international tätigen Zulieferern
Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Automotive/Rennsport

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).

Within the Quality Management department, you will work on the key component - the internal combustion engine - with a focus on the turbocharger, contributing to competitiveness in a highly challenging environment. From the development and manufacturing of individual parts to the finished high-performance power unit for motorsport applications, you will accompany the components throughout their entire lifecycle. As part of the QA component responsibility team, you will ensure the required component quality and be involved in dynamic and complex damage analyses within the context of the F1 hybrid powertrain system.

Your Mission

Presenting and representing quality-related aspects during the design phase in collaboration with technical development
Selecting suitable suppliers in cooperation with procurement and technical development, including supplier qualification
Defining appropriate measurement and testing methods for component inspection
Performing, evaluating, approving, and documenting component tests
Handling complaints with external suppliers
Conducting component analyses and contributing to damage analysis and root cause elimination processes
Creating acceptance criteria, test instructions, and incorporating lessons learned

Your Profile

Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field of study
In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines (crankshaft and valve train)
Comprehensive analytical thinking combined with a strong system-level understanding of internal combustion engines
Experience in quality assurance and in working with external suppliers
Solid IT skills (MS Office, SAP)
Assertiveness, high motivation, and initiative as part of a small team with direct communication and a high level of personal responsibility
Good command of English and experience collaborating with internationally active suppliers
Several years of professional experience in the automotive or motorsport sector
