Audi wird ab 2026 in der FIA Formel 1 Weltmeisterschaft antreten.

Das neue Team hat drei Standorte. Das Audi Kompetenz-Center Motorsport in Neuburg (Deutschland) gilt als eines der modernsten seiner Art in Europa. Die Sauber Group's Formula 1 Factory in Hinwil (Schweiz) ist bekannt für ihre innovativen Technologien und ihre Leidenschaft für den Rennsport. Das Sauber Motorsport Technology Center im Vereinigten Königreich wird in diesem Jahr in Betrieb genommen. Unsere Power Unit kommt aus Neuburg, während Hinwil für die Entwicklung des Chassis und den Rennbetrieb verantwortlich ist.

Diese Position für das Audi F1 Project ist bei der Audi Formula Racing GmbH am Standort Neuburg (Deutschland) zu besetzen.

Im Bereich der Hochvolt Speicherentwicklung arbeitest Du an der Schlüsselkomponente elektrischer High-Performance-Antriebe und trägst deinen Teil zur Wettbewerbsfähigkeit in einem hochkompetitiven Umfeld bei. Vom Anforderungsmanagement über die Methodenentwicklung bis hin zur Detailauslegung entwickelst Du HV-Speicherkonzepte für high performance Motorsportanwendungen.

Diese Stelle ist ab 01.02.2026 zu besetzen.

Deine Aufgaben

• Durchführung von Festigkeitsanalysen, statischen & dynamischen Simulationen
• Erstellung der Finite-Elemente-Modelle, Auswertung und Validierung der Ergebnisse
• Dokumentation und Präsentation der Berechnungsergebnisse
• Betreuung und Koordination externer Dienstleister
• Analytische Vorauslegung und Auslegung von Verbindungselementen
• Weiterentwicklung von Simulationsmethoden und -prozessen sowie Materialmodellen
• Definition geeigneter Prüfstandsversuche zur Validierung der Simulationsparameter

Dein Profil

• Studium des Maschinenbaus, der Kraftfahrzeugtechnik oder eine vergleichbare Weiterbildung
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet der Strukturanalyse mit Schwerpunkt FEM
• Vertieftes Wissen im Bereich Werkstoffe, sowie Auslegung von Composite Bauteilen
• Kenntnisse im Umgang mit FE-Tools wie Abaqus, Optistruct, Nastran, sowie Ansa
• Fundierte Konstruktionserfahrung und Umgang mit Catia V5
• Bereitschaft neben der Strukturanalyse auch konstruktive Tätigkeiten zu übernehmen
• Erfahrung im Bereich HV-Batterien und strukturelle Integration von Batteriezellen sind von Vorteil
• Umsetzungsstärke, sowie ein hohes Maß an Motivation und Eigeninitiative
• Ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit
• Zielorientierte, selbständige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
• Entscheidungs- und Konfliktfähigkeit
• Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit international tätigen Firmen
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- oder Englischkenntnisse sowie die Bereitschaft Grundkenntnisse in der jeweils anderen Sprache zu erlernen sind Voraussetzung

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).

In the field of high-voltage storage development, you will work on the key component of electric high-performance drive systems and play your part in ensuring we are able to succeed in a highly competitive environment. From requirements management and methods development right through to the detailed design, you will develop HV storage concepts for high-performance motorsport applications.

This position is available starting February 1, 2026.

Your Mission

• Perform strength analyses and static & dynamic simulations
• Create finite element models and evaluate and validate the results
• Document and present the analysis results
• Support and coordinate external service providers
• Produce analytical preliminary design and design of connecting elements
• Enhance simulation methods and processes as well as material models
• Define appropriate test bench trials for validating simulation parameters

Your Profile

• Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or comparable advanced training
• Several years of experience in the field of structural analysis with a focus on FEM
• In-depth knowledge in the area of materials as well as the design of composite parts
• Skills in handling FE tools such as Abaqus, Optistruct, Nastran, and Ansa
• Extensive experience of design and knowledge of using Catia V5
• Willingness to take on design tasks in addition to structural analysis
• Experience in the area of HV batteries and structural integration of battery cells is advantageous
• Full professional proficiency in German or English and a willingness to attain a basic level in the corresponding other language are prerequisites
• Strong implementation skills and a high level of motivation and personal initiative
• Excellent team skills
• Goal-oriented, independent, and structured working practices
• Ability to make decisions and handle conflicts
• Experience in working together with international companies
